This maintenance would enhance PAR’s in-store resiliency to minimize synchronization issues during brief local network outages and improve overall system stability. Key improvements include smarter handling when a register becomes Backup Primary—temporarily pausing clocking out, checking out, and cash drawer assignment for 15 minutes with alerts every 5 minutes—along with more reliable end-of-day processing (including resolving EOD looping), optimized register log management, and improved handling of large future date orders. It also resolves issues with the order SQS Queue, backward compatibility for script-based Print Configurator, and improves setting synchronization on secondary registers.
