This maintenance would enhance PAR’s in-store resiliency to minimize synchronization issues during brief local network outages and improve overall system stability. Key improvements include smarter handling when a register becomes Backup Primary—temporarily pausing clocking out, checking out, and cash drawer assignment for 15 minutes with alerts every 5 minutes—along with more reliable end-of-day processing (including resolving EOD looping), optimized register log management, and improved handling of large future date orders. It also resolves issues with the order SQS Queue, backward compatibility for script-based Print Configurator, and improves setting synchronization on secondary registers. Also, with enablement of the new data feed, sales splits now function differently. In order to ensure they are managed quickly and accurately, sales splits must be executed by the PAR support team. We are currently developing new tooling for customer and partner support teams who previously had this ability to perform sales splits. Please send all sales split cases directly to PAR support. We will notify you once the tools are updated.
